Letter from the Editor, August 2008

Hello,

August is a beautiful time of year here. There is no doubt that it can get hot, but this heat has its advantages. First and foremost, people come to the Red Sea Riviera to enjoy the water and during the summer, the water is nice and refreshing, not cold at all. Secondly, the days are longer and so you get more time to do what you want, whether that’s just tanning on the beach, or doing something on the water, like snorkelling, or kite surfing for example.

Here’s a look at some the topics we’ll be looking at for this “high summer” issue.

First, we will look at kite surfing and windsurfing in Safaga. These activities are very popular there and conditions are nearly perfect for them. If you happen to find yourself on a holiday in Safaga, why don’t you give these activities a try?

We’ll also take a look at the always exciting topic of shopping. This time we’ll look at Dahab and what that beautiful town has to offer. You can buy almost anything from Dahab and we’ll make it just a little easier.

Stay tuned, since we’ll be adding more throughout the month.

We hope to see you all here in the beautiful Red Sea Riviera.
