This Nubian style resort stands alone on the border of the Wadi Gimal National Reserve, surrounded on one side by a beautiful desert landscape and on the other side by a turquoise blue sea. Away from all hectic and tourist trouble, it is about 50 km south of Marsa Alam town and 110 km from Marsa Alam airport.

Beautiful 1 km long private, natural sandy beach with shallow entrance to the sea in several points. The virgin house reef, easily accessible from the shore or from the dive centre jetty, starts in 5m and gently slopes down to 20m., which makes it ideal for night diving, too. There is a rich variety of soft and hard corals and approximately 10m. away from the reef an area with sea grass starts where, if you are lucky, you might see turtles, rays and now and then a dugong. Wadi Gimal Island can be reached in half an hour by boat.

160 nice rooms distributed over 2-storey buildings, surrounded by a pleasant garden and all very close to the beach. All rooms have total or partial sea view, balcony or terrace, bathroom, individual air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe and mini fridge. They can take up to 3 people. Connecting and disabled friendly rooms are available.

You can help yourself for breakfast and dinner at rich buffets, located at the main restaurant. At lunch time a large selection of food and snacks à-la-carte is available. Divers and snorkellers can have lunch on board the boats if arranged in advance. There are 3 bars, located in the lobby, on the beach and by the dive centre, and an authentic Bedouin tent.

1 pool with a shallow area for the youngest guests; children’s playground and play station. There is a shopping area, health club with massage and sauna with charge. Wind shades, sun chairs and umbrellas, as well as beach towels available free of charge at the pool and at the beach.
