All Inclusive holidays to the Red Sea in Egypt
Many holiday websites and magazines are full of negative reviews from people who booked an All Inclusive Holiday but then discovered that it was not so "all inclusive". In order to clear up such matters and insure that you have the perfect relaxing holiday, there are some things that you should know. The truth is that the All Inclusive formula varies significantly from hotel to hotel, from offer to offer and from tour operator to tour operator (and that's why you have to carefully read the small print and the full information about your holiday before booking it). The standard All Inclusive holiday package to the Red Sea will generally include the following: - buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner;
- tea time with snacks and pastries;
- unlimited consumption of water, soft drinks and local wine and beer;
- a range of sports, such as boccia, darts, table tennis or beach volley (if available);
- daytime and evening activities for both adults and kids (if available).
A lot of these packages may also offer: - snacks throughout the day;
- ice cream in-between meals;
- unlimited consumption of local alcoholic beverages;
- non-motorised water sports, such as canoeing, pedaloes, sailing and windsurfing (if available);
- use of snorkelling equipment, fitness rooms and tennis courts.
A few selected resorts may offer the Deluxe All Inclusive formula, which can include: - the possibility of dining at a-la-carte restaurants;
- consumption from the room mini bar and room service;
- free Internet use;
- collective sports lessons;
- an extensive sports programme.
In most cases, All Inclusive packages in Egypt will not include fresh juices, sparkling water and special teas & coffees. Also please note that imported alcohol is never included due to the very high customs levied on it. Drinks are almost never bottled (meaning they are served by glass or carafe). Timings of meals, activities, etc will also differ from hotel to hotel and according to the season. In general, the All Inclusive starts at check in time (not earlier than 14.00) and ends at check out time (not later than 12.00). All inclusive guests typically will be given a bracelet or magnetic card, as a form of identification, which they will have to carry with them at all times. All Inclusive holidays are quite popular in Egypt’s Red Sea. All Inclusive hotels and resorts range from 3* to 5*; normally the cheapest ones offer a standard formula, while the most exclusive ones offer quite complete packages. The rule is that there is no rule. Each individual All Inclusive hotel has its policies, so you must carefully check what exactly is included in your package before you head out. We make all possible efforts to display on line, together with the hotel description, all the details of what is exactly offered in your All Inclusive package. It may happen that some of our partners do not provide us with this information; in such cases we suggest that you contact us before booking.
